Keyboard shortcuts

Glossa listens for the same shortcut set on Windows, Linux, and macOS. On macOS, use Cmd where the interface shows Ctrl.

Core shortcuts

ShortcutAction
Ctrl + EnterRun the pipeline, or run a dry test if the pipeline is in Test mode
Ctrl + SSave the current project and any dirty library items
Ctrl + EOpen export for the current document when chunks are available
Ctrl + ,Open the configuration drawer
Ctrl + HOpen the help view on the shortcuts section
Ctrl + 1 to Ctrl + 9Jump to the corresponding chunk
EscClose the current modal or overlay

Notes

  • Ctrl + Enter works even when the focus is inside text inputs.
  • Chunk switching only reaches the first nine chunks directly from the keyboard.
  • Saving is deferred when a project is running and the project cannot be written yet.
  • The app shows Ctrl in the UI; on macOS that means Cmd.
